Paragliding
Next to Hotel Martinelli, you have the opportunity to embark on an exhilarating paragliding adventure and explore the stunning natural landscape of Trentino from up high. Val di Gresta is the perfect place to try your hand at this sport. In addition to paragliding in Trentino, you can also try hang-gliding, parachuting, base jumping and glider flights – air sports enthusiasts will find plenty to enjoy! At least a dozen places around Lake Garda provide these services, too. Many schools organise paragliding courses on the lake, where you can also watch various acrobatic events! Beginners can practice near Baita Pizzeria in Bordala, while paragliding enthusiasts can fly over Trentino, taking off from Somator and landing in Mori.

Ski mountaineering in Trentino
Explore the forests, valleys, and peaks of Trentino while ski mountaineering, one of the region’s primary and most beloved winter pursuits. Climb the snow-covered peaks of Mount Stivo before experiencing the pleasure of a descent through wilderness or soak up the magical silence of fairy-tale forests and enchanted valleys. Explore the beauty of ski mountaineering in the beautiful setting of Trentino. Hotel Martinelli will provide you with alpine equipment for free and is always happy to help guests plan their perfect ski mountaineering trip in Trentino.

Climbing
Climbing in Trentino involves reaching out to touch the mountains with your own hands and embracing the allure of the rock faces. Close to Hotel Martinelli in Upper Garda, you’ll find the town of Arco, famous worldwide for sport climbing. Each year, it hosts events that attract top climbing champions.
Between natural and artificial gyms, climbing in Trentino is one of a kind. You’ll find Pannone natural gymnasium in the heart of Ronzo-Chienis. This outdoor facility boasts a specific type of slab rock and micro-holding techniques, with 50 routes of medium difficulty. The gym, which is easily accessible from Hotel Martinelli, lends itself to climbs requiring precise movements, techniques, and finger strength. Due to its eastern exposure, we recommend practising the sport in spring and summer using 60-metre ropes. Hotel Martinelli provides helmets, harnesses, and carabiners for climbing in Trentino. Local guides are also available to accompany you when trying your hand at this exciting sport.
